Worked tonight via /r/gratitude

I worked tonight. I texted with friends from all over. Watched most of the football game. My relief showed up a half hour early. Drove home no traffic no snow no black ice. Came home at 11:45 with house full of family and dogs sniffing. There was a steak left for me. My son who had I very big doctor appointment today, helped me finish the sauté mushrooms. Got a text from my oldest at 1am to pick him up from a party. He REALLY enjoyed himself.

Then I woke up to horrific images from NOLA.
How am I so lucky.🍀
