Urgent care via /r/gratitude

Today I was able to get the last spot at an urgent care and only had to wait about 2 hours. We’re in the thick of respiratory virus season so I was expecting at least 4 hours. Then I was able to get the rx I needed and found a 24-hour pharmacy nearby and they sent it automatically and it only took about 10 minutes to get the meds. I am really thankful for all the healthcare workers who are busting their butts this flu season! Also thank you THANK YOU to the tons of ancillary staff (registration, front desk, EVS) that make it possible for the docs and nurses to see people as quick as possible. And thank you for the patients who have good attitudes and are trying to be as patient as possible in the waiting room when they’re not feeling well.
