The more I do it the easier it will be

I'm craving blueberries mixed with cool whip, marshmallows, and coconut flakes. It's better than ice cream in my opinion. I went a long time without eating any added sugar at all, like a year without. Well…. Last week I kind of went crazy. I ate A LOT LOT of this yummy stuff. I gained weight. I felt crummy… Still kind of do feel crummy, but today I feel way better than yesterday so I know I'm on the mend. I have to remind myself that I'm only craving it so much right now because I recently gave in. I know that the more I resist the urge the easier and more reflexive resisting will be. And if I give in, even if it's just"one more time" I'll only be strengthening the urge itself which will reset my progress of strengthening my "not this time" mindset. I can eat blueberries without all of the extra stuff and that is a fine treat for myself and I'll still feel good after. I'm grateful to have the ability to FLEX my resist the urge muscles today.
