Perfect timing via /r/gratitude

Me and my husband live about 3 hours away from his kids and grandkids and great grandkids so we usually see them on holidays. I got sick over the summer and we missed the visit for fourth of July so it had been a while since we'd seen them. His granddaughter had a baby that we met for the first time yesterday. He's so big and such a cute baby. She's such a great mama bear, I'm so lucky to be a part of this family. I couldn't stop smiling while watching the kids open their presents. I didn't even want to blink. And as I was watching the new mama and daddy play with their baby I was able to witness his first steps. I can't believe my luck! I'm grateful for perfect timing.
