My World is Bigger Because of the Bus System via /r/gratitude

I live in a large city and utilize the bus system on a daily basis to commute, run errand and see friends. 

I am grateful for the bus system. 

My world is bigger because of the bus system. Without it, I could only get as far as I could walk or ride a bike. 

I am grateful for the drivers.

Today, I took the bus to the library and the driver remained professional even dealing with difficult personalities.

It’s a taxing and stressful job (even potentially dangerous) as the driver is often subjected to the ire of displeased riders and persons that are intoxicated or suffering mental health problems.

The bus system is heavily subsidized. I’m grateful for the money allocated to make the system work.
