my phone got ran over by a car but it still works! via /r/gratitude

had to take a drug test for a job and was waiting for the bus to go back home. all the buses were saying cancelled so i was just skating around in a empty parking lot waiting and then one came and i tried to chase it but its was snow and ice on the ground and my skateboard was wet so i feel in the middle of the street

i heard a car honk [i was back on the sidewalk] and realized my phone wasnt in my pocket anymore, i went to pick it and it was still working!

at first i wad stressing like its not gonna hold up but its been like 4 days. Anyway got the jon after being unemployed for like 2 months and really needed my phone to do onboarding stuff. I AM GRATEFUL
