I am grateful for the wonderful music that has been preserved through the centuries. via /r/gratitude

Sitting here, listening to modern renditions of songs composed composed in the 1600s, it reminds me to be grateful of creation's capacity to produce such beautiful melodies that still resonate with not just humans, but many living beings on this planet today.

I am grateful that there are modern day musicians that still have the patience and will to gather with like minded musicians to play such beautiful music. It is a blessing that there have been people throughout the ages that saw the musician's compositions from the past, and decided to transcribe the music and write it down so that it may last even until today.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of creating, maintaining, and making it possible that people today can enjoy this music with a few strokes of a keyboard and clicks of the mouse. You all rock!
