i am grateful for my physical health and to be getting stronger in the gym

periodically i give thanks to god for the blessing of good health especially when im at the gym. i notice i am getting stronger, my body is able to withstand a lot of weight now which is impressive! when i first started my fitness journey, i was recovering from an eating disorder which made me feel very weak most times especially when exercising. i had to take things pretty slow and give myself A LOT of time to rest in between sets. when im breathing heavy and my heart rate is up, i thank god and praise him, that my lungs and my heart are working! its overlooked how important a normal functioning body is. “normal” is such an understatement bc that means healthy which one of the biggest blessings ever!
