I am grateful for beach combing and a new relationship via /r/gratitude

I’ve been beachcombing for about four years, I think? It’s a very relaxing and rewarding hobby to me. I start to miss the sounds of the waves crashing if I haven’t been in a while. I’m grateful I live by some nice beaches for it. Today I found something pretty exciting which I’m thankful for, and I also appreciate every piece, I am grateful for each one and I like to imagine the lives each piece lived before it found its way to me.

I’m also grateful for a new relationship. For how it’s slowly evolved with time, for the love and care we have for each other, the mutual understanding, and for the way he inspires me to grow and create. I’m grateful for how I’ve grown before this too, like I’m a pretty piece of sea glass that has spent time being tumbled by nature.
