grateful to be safe via /r/gratitude

I am so, so thankful I live in Michigan where natural disasters (disasters as a whole for the most part) are not nearly as prevalent as they are in other states.

I watched so much coverage of the California fires today because I was just in awe of it all. it is so horrific. I’m just so thankful to be going to bed at home, safe. I will never take that for granted.
