Grateful that my dog is ok. via /r/gratitude

Spent the wee hours of last night/this morning at the emergency vet due to sudden coughing and vomiting fit the likes of which I personally had never seen before and lasted in total about an hour. It looks like its kennel cough, which is so much better than anything my panicked brain was guessing (ate something poisonous etc). she's home now, resting and wagging her tail. So grateful she is ok and with me. So grateful for the 24 hour vet where I live and that I was able to just jump in the car and be there quickly getting her the help she needed:)
