Grateful for my choices and others’ good fortunes via /r/gratitude

I retired early due to health reasons. Thanks to being financially prudent, I am living a very good life.

Recently the company I retired from gave huge bonuses to everyone. For some, they are life-changing amounts.

When I read about the company, I experienced an honest joy for my colleagues' rewards. They earned them.

The thing I'm most grateful for is, I didn't have one moment of jealousy or wished I'd stayed. I have cherished every moment of my retirement.
