Grateful for family via /r/gratitude

I realize this sounds generic, but I’m so thankful for them right now. I got what I’m assuming is the flu on Christmas (sigh) and I’ve been in bed since yesterday afternoon running a pretty nasty fever. I live alone but I visit my family for Christmas every year, and my old bedroom is always available for me to stay in. Since I’m sick, I’ve been in this room while they bring me food, meds, etc. I could literally stay here as long as I need, and they would take care of me without complaints. My family isn’t perfect by any means, but I’m so grateful right now. I started to post in r/offmychest, but I realized I’m so much more thankful for them than upset about getting sick on Christmas.
