Grateful for a Magnificent 2024 via /r/gratitude

1. I’m so grateful for getting to live another year on this planet

2. I’m so grateful for all of the amazing foods I got to eat all year

3. I’m so grateful for taking on a gratitude practice for about the last 6 months without missing a single day

4. I’m so grateful for getting to do some adventures and travel this year including horseback riding, hiking to the Wave, seeing Yellowstone, going in the White House, seeing Ohtani hit a home run and getting on the Jumbotron at dodger stadium, snorkeling in Okinawa, going camping and glamping, going skiing in the worlds best slopes, and staying in one of the best hotels in the world.

5. I’m so grateful for the exterior remodel of my house and garden this year. It came out amazing.

6. I’m so grateful for getting a new electric car this year. I love it.

7. I’m so grateful for two college friends visiting me this year, and a bigger reunion with high school and college friends out in California

8. I’m so grateful for getting to go on a mediation retreat this year for the first time in years

9. I’m so grateful for the safety and good health for my family this year through all of the things we did and places we went

10. I’m so grateful for all of the good vibes and energy I received from people and from the universe this year

11. I’m so grateful for all of the creativity I experienced this year, writing really took off

12. I’m so grateful for going to about 13 baseball games this year and my kids falling in love with playing baseball, and all of the times we played catch and other games outside

13. I’m so grateful for my wife this year. She had a year of some ups and downs but did her best. She did laundry and cooked and took care of the kids school work and basically made the family life work.

14. I’m so grateful for the blossoming of the relationships with my father and sister this year

15. I’m so grateful for all of the walks, yoga sessions, and weights I got to lift this year

16. I’m so grateful for all the clothes I got to wear this year

17. I’m so grateful for all the entertainment I got this year, the podcasts and music and YouTube videos and much more

18. I’m so grateful for getting to see the redwoods this year

19. I’m so grateful for whatever unseen universal, spiritual forces and beings are taking care of my family and I, giving us a wonderful life

20. I’m so grateful for our community and all of the support and care we received and the events we got to participate in.

Here’s to a million things to be grateful for in 2025. I’m already so grateful for the magnificent year ahead.
