A beautiful day via /r/gratitude

Today was such a lucky and beautiful day.

I went out shopping and noticed so many women in kimono. They were beautiful! Their hair and makeup was done up and the fabric of the kimono was beautiful. I live in Japan so sometimes I see women in kimono but not this many! I’m a woman but I haven’t worn kimono yet so I LOVE seeing other women wearing it. It turns out there was a matchmaking event, and the women were meeting up with men in suits who were giving them flower bouquets. It was so beautiful, I felt so grateful to be surrounded by so much beauty and magic.

Then, later in the day, my partner told me we wouldn’t be able to get a reservation for a restaurant I really wanted to go to this week. I accepted it, but I knew that if I didn’t worry about it, everything would work out. An hour later, my partner told me that we got a reservation for tomorrow, likely due to cancellation! I was so grateful but not surprised, as I knew everything would work out.

Today was so beautiful, I am so lucky to have lived it ☀️ Can’t wait for tomorrow.
