Grateful for my parents via /r/gratitude

So I’ve been sick for over a week and it sucks. Every day I wake up with things to do and can’t find the motivation to do it because I’m still sick. Today I was supposed to go see my parents for dinner, and decided I was still too sick and would infect them so I cancelled. My mom surprised me by sending my dad over with a chicken dinner and some special cold&flu tea. I know I’m lucky to have them, but today just reminded me how lucky.
