Grateful for my granddaughter via /r/gratitude

I’m grateful for my granddaughter. I recently went on a vacation to go visit her in Germany and I took her for a swim at a public pool and they’re the dressing rooms are open and coed and I was trying to dress underneath the towel because it was a bit awkward for me cause I’m not used to that Because I have body image issues. And we were getting dressed I’m trying to hide myself, you’re the only one that has body issues. You’re beautiful. I don’t know what your problem is. She told me to embrace my body as I look great for being a granny. It made my heart melt coming from a nine year-old.
