Some Yuletide Gratitude via /r/gratitude

I lived in Colorado most my life.
On a whim, I took a job on the North Shore of Minnesota and moved 1,100 miles away to enjoy the best of what Lake Superior has to offer while working out here.
This holiday season, I am spending my holidays with mostly my co-workers, who happen to be some of the sweetest, kindest, interesting new friends I've yet to meet. Most of them are J1 Visa students that are here getting work experience for their degrees.
We are all away from our families out here but we have one another.
I'm pretty grateful 😊😊
