I’m grateful for not arguing via /r/gratitude

I'm grateful for learning to see life isn't black and white. There are also grey areas. Not every insult deserves a response, and not every provocation should be expanded. We can choose to be better people and do better each day.

I am grateful I did not engage in an argument, but rather that I learned how to pull myself away from it when time is precious, and we can live without the necessity to have a response for everything.
